Applications are available on a rolling basis for current year Charter Initiation Ceremonies as per below:
August 15th, 2009 - OCTOBER 13th, 2009 Applications will be taken from the following groups for Charter Year Initiation #2 to be held during the Ph.D. Residency in Dallas between January 17th and 23rd, 2010.
If you are in a Ph.D., Ed.D. or Ed.S. program or are a Transfer KDP Member from another KDP Chapter or are a Walden University Faculty or Administrator, then you may apply for membership at this time.
Applications will be reviewed in October and selected Initiates will be notified of the selection results by Mid-November, 2009.

If you are in a Master's Degree Program then you will have an open application period between February 1 and March 31, 2010 with notification being given by Mid-May, 2010. Your Charter Initiation Program will be held during the Ph.D. Residency in Minneapolis, MN in July 2010.
Attendance of Initiations, in person, while special and exciting, is not something that all can complete and therefore, an online initiation program is in the development stages and will be available with updates on an ongoing basis. Once you complete this online initiation via Survey Monkey, then you will be an official member and your membership certificate will be mailed to you.
